Well, as usual the day so far was rather dull. Rose woke up to find she was alone in the apartment, which was no surprise to her seeing as this was the case most days. Weylyn was out and about somewhere, hopefully not flinging around with some other woman again. Rose frowned deeply at the thought, and so tried to believe he was not doing that. He could be out at the store for all Rose knew, and she discovered about ten minutes after having gotten dressed and such that there was a note saying exactly that. She had told Weylyn the night before how they still needed a few things for the babies. But Rose had said she was going to go in the afternoon, but Wey had taken it upon himself to do it for her. She sighed, appreciating the gesture, but wished he had woken her up so she could go as well. The Nephilim rarely got out these days. Well, except to work shifts at the family store, but that was it really. Well, Wey knew was was needed, and he would come home soon she was sure.
Rose wandered about the house, knowing Arganok too was gone; working at the hospital no doubt. She wasn't entirely alone though. Sleeping on her little fancy velvet pillow was an orange tabby kitten, all curled up into a tiny ball. Guilly was the kitten's name, well, Guillotine technically, but the female kitten's name was shortened to Guilly instead since it sounded more feminine. Weylyn had suggested the name to the kitten after he and Rose's fight about the hellhound Guillotine. He had pretty much forbidden Rose to ever seeing the hound again after he had tried to attack Rose when Wey managed to piss him off into a frenzy. So, to compensate for the loss of her best friend, Wey allowed the kitten to be named Guillotine for both Rose's small benefit, and his own selfishness. Rose shook her head a bit, smiling somewhat at the sleeping kitten. Guilly didn't care too much for Rose, only tolerated her. She adored Weylyn naturally, so the kitten really belonged to Wey even though technically it was a jointed ownership. The kitten was spoiled, that was for sure. Weylyn had gotten so much for her, and it was a little over-board really, but Rose allowed it, although somewhat reluctantly.
Rose felt a pang of lonliness, a common feeling she had now a days when both Arg and Wey were out of the apartment. Though the relationship between herself and Wey was so tense now, she still missed him terribly when he was gone because she still loved him, even after all the knives the two stabbed in each others backs in attempts at revenge and possession. The thought of seeing Gil again came into Rose's mind. He had been here recently, trying to apologize to Rose from weeks ago by bringing over various items for the twins. The two had talked for a very long time, rekindled the friendship that was forced to being snuffed out. She contemplated for many minutes on this, and decided finally that she would at least drop by and say hi and say thanks for the things he had brought her again. Rose went over to the counter-top and left a note for Weylyn should he return before she did saying "Went out for a walk and fresh air, be back soon. I love you!"
She turned away and went towards the door, slipping on her boots and quietly slipping out of the apartment, locking it behind her while doing so. Rose made her way downstairs, scaling down a couple flight of stairs before reaching Guillotine's level. She panted somewhat, seeing as it was quite the effort to climb up and down stairs since she was farther in her pregnancy now. Rose would have taken the elevator, but alas, it was out of order today. The Nephilim walked down the little hall until she came across Guillotine's apartment door. She hesitated for a few seconds before she rapped on the door lightly. Rose then waited patiently, looking around her while she waited for the door to open.
